Smart® Caregiver Magnetic Alarm Pull-string Monitor When the resident attempts to get out of his/her chair or bed, the tension on the pull-string cord causes the magnet to pull away from the monitor. This causes the alarm to sound alerting the caregiver. A guard protects against the magnet slipping, preventing false alarms. Hook-and-loop strap is included for easy mounting.
