AliMed® Profile Sitting Orthosis incorporates an ischial bar and contour cuts to encourage modified anterior pelvic tilt and help foster an upright sitting posture. Discourages harmful "sacral sitting". Contouring and shaping at the rear of the cushion helps relieve ischial pressure. T-Foam™ interfaces between the cushion and the user, offering additional pressure relief and comfort. Tapered distal edges relieve pressure ridge on the posterior aspect of the thigh. Solid Seat Insert™ creates a stable sitting foundation. Optimal cushion protection for amputees—patient nests in the Profile Sitting Orthosis, resulting in exceptionally safe, upright, stable posture. Universal tendency to slide forward is eliminated. Breathable, washable cover features incontinence protection and nonslip bottom. Available in two widths: 16" and 18".
