AliMed® Amputee Wheelchair Surface is ideal for post-op below-the-knee amputees. Sturdy 1/2"-thick plywood base is available in two padded options: Polyfoam model includes 1"H layer of resilient polyfoam; Premium Gel model features an additional thick gel layer for added cushioning and shear relief. Both are covered with black Naugahyde® vinyl, include attachment ties, and fit 18"W wheelchairs. Available in Left, Right, or Bilateral.

Warning: Extended amputee cushions can be extremely unstable. Excess force or weight should never be allowed on the protruding, unsupported portion. Use extreme care in transfers. Consult your doctor or therapist in the use of these devices. Any ties attached to the cushion are intended to prevent the cushion from sliding in the wheelchair and are not intended as safety straps.
