AliMed® Checkerboard T-Gel™ Plus Wheelchair Cushion with Solid Seat Insert™ (SSI) features a shear-reducing T-Gel pad and slow recovery Medium T-Foam™ (memory foam) layered on top of a convex bottom, closed-cell foam, solid seat base to form a cushion that addresses multiple patient needs. Individual checkerboard gel cells move independently to react to patient's movements and allow greater air circulation for maximum shear relief. Solid Seat Insert promotes an upright sitting posture without increasing the overall seat cushion height. Available in Standard and Bariatric sizes with Black Stretch Polyknit Cover or durable Navy Ripstop Nylon Cover that resists incontinence and stops punctures from becoming tears.
