Dining with Dignity Flatware has been developed specifically as an attractive, functional assistive eating aid for grasp-impaired individuals. The elegant, patented design enables those with grasp impairments to hold their fork or spoon independently. An elegant adjustable yoke is attached to each implement handle and easily encircles the thumb and forefinger. Utensils with straps may work, but many grasp-impaired people can't put the strap on—with Dining with Dignity, the utensil is easily grasped and used without any setup. Based on a simple, elegant Oneida pattern, Dining with Dignity affords unequal control, even when the user has a deformity. Available in single fork or two-piece set of one fork and one spoon.
