Product Description

AliMed® Turnbuckle Ankle Orthosis enables the clinician to apply progressive, low-load stretch at the ankle joint to control muscle imbalance and reduce contracture. Bilateral turnbuckles allow independent control of dorsiflexion at 0 degrees to 10 degrees, plantarflexion at 0 degrees to 35 degrees, and normal range to 45 degrees inversion/25 degrees eversion. Simply adjust turnbuckle to gradually modify angle at ankle joint. Turnbuckle with triangular-shaped grip easily adjusts with splint in place for optimal positioning. Fully lined with washable terrycloth-foam laminate. Soft, padded calf and toe straps are built into liner. Separate, padded ankle strap is used to secure ankle against brace and limit rubbing. Heel area is enlarged to ensure heel does not rest on splint for protection for sensitive skin. Must be used under a physician's supervision. Fits left or right. Available in Small, Medium, and Large.
