AliMed® NickelPlast™-Lite has all the properties of PE-LITE® but with enhanced quality control. Higher polyethylene content offers a smooth surface, making it ideal for socket liners. Heat-moldable. 42 durometer (Shore A) firmness level. Available in two heights: 3/16" or 3/8" in Blue or White (single sheet only) sold by the sheet or case of sheets.

About AliMed® NickelPlast™: This high-strength, expanded orthotic material has outstanding uniformity. It is tough, tear-resistant, and resists bottoming out, offering a resilient, rubbery quality not found in simpler, cross-linked polyethylene materials. When heated for a few minutes, it yields easily to complex molding and shaping and shrinks about 15% when thoroughly heated. When cool, it hardens approximately five Shore A points. Use for PTB, AK, or BK socket liners, insoles, foot orthotic postings, and other applications where long wear and resilience is necessary.
