AliMed® FREEDOM® Long Elastic Wrist Support features long forearm length optimally distributes pressure and hand weight without restricting hand function for all-day support. Ideal for those with weak or arthritic wrists. Cotton-blend fabric creates compression in the wrist area without feeling tight. Distal palmar portion of the splint fits proximal to the palmar crease. Design will not impede finger function, fingers can easily move and grasp items. Perfectly placed thumb cutout won't interfere with thenar eminence, allowing the thumb to fully rotate. Wide, adjustable stay supports and positions wrist in 30 degrees of extension. Comfortable fabric provides a glove-like fit, wicks moisture away from the skin, and is washable (remove stay). Simple hook-and-loop closures for one-handed attachment. Helps to reduce pain caused by carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis, or other injury. Wear all day or use as a sleeping splint or after cast removal. Available in Adult and Pediatric sizes in Left or Right options.
