Thick-It^® Original Food and Beverage Thickener

Thick-It® Original Food and Beverage Thickener allows you to easily modify liquids and pureed foods to help people of all ages with swallowing problems (dysphagia). Helps decrease the risk of choking and aspiration, which is a common cause of pneumonia. Effectively thickens hot or cold beverages and pureed foods for people who normally have difficulty swallowing, producing any desired consistency quickly and controllably without changing taste, smell, or appearance. Cornstarch-based, readily digested, and low in sodium. Does not bind fluids. Ideal for clients in hospitals, nursing homes, and rehabilitation facilities as well as at home. Available in Regular (sold 12 per box or 72 per case) for standard thickening or Concentrated (sold 12 per box only), which requires less thickener to achieve your desired consistency.
