Comfy Splints™ Pediatric Spring-Loaded Goniometer Hand/Thumb Orthosis is for moderate-to-strong flexion synergy with added spring that applies a dynamic stretch force to push wrist to desired degree of extension. Flexion/extension dial can be adjusted in 5-degree increments using included Allen wrench stored in the frame of the orthosis. Adjustable thumb post supports the wrist and thumb without stretching the thenar eminence. Provides gradual extension of nonfixed contractures of the wrist, hand, and thumb. Side wings prevent ulnar/radial deviation. Properly sized for a child's anatomy, this customizable splint features adjustable metal frames that bend to fit without heat or additional tools. Terrycloth cover is soft, removable, and machine-washable with thicker foam padding. DriRelease® fabric embedded with Freshguard® to help absorb moisture and neutralize odors. Fits left or right. Covers are color-coded by size: Medium (Turquoise) or Large (Emerald Green).
