Nursing Education Fund

One of the core pillars of AliCares, the Nursing Education Fund honors the selfless daily efforts of nurses in all healthcare professions.

AliMed created this $10,000 charitable fund to present Scholarships to deserving nursing students in need of a financial boost as they pursue this rewarding career. Selected schools can choose student grant recipients at their discretion based on demonstrated community commitment and academic achievement.

This year’s beneficiary schools -- Brockton Hospital School of Nursing and UMass at Dartmouth Nursing Program -- will present the awards to actively enrolled nursing students. AliMed will also donate medical products and equipment to each participating, accredited institution based on their specific program needs.

Helping people...in the Community

Since its inception, AliCares has provided thousands of masks to Friends of Boston’s Homeless and donated volunteer hours to all AliMed employees. Our dedicated volunteers have assisted a variety of local organizations, including the American Red Cross, Big Brother Big Sister Foundation, Boston ABCD, Community Servings, Cradles to Crayons, Dedham Food Pantry, Friends of Boston’s Homeless, and The Carroll Center for the Blind, among others.

AliCares is a natural extension of AliMed’s enduring commitment to “helping people help people” within the healthcare community, officially building on its long-established tradition of service.

United for a common goal

Each AliCares Community Contributor can experience the fulfillment of helping people help people—and have some fun along the way. This important aspect of our corporate culture provides every employee with the tools to serve the community and swag to proudly display their AliCares pride.
