AliMed^® Gel Anti-Shear Support Surface for AMSCO^® Surgical Tables

AliMed® Gel Anti-Shear Support Surface for AMSCO® Surgical Tables features Akton® polymer gel to help avoid excessive pressure buildup, which can lead to skin damage, while evenly distributing weight and providing constant support beneath patients without bottoming out. Gel reduces shear by moving with the skin, not against it. Heat and humidity are controlled by the material’s ability to evenly radiate heat throughout the product. This reduces the risk of potentially dangerous “hot spot” development, while providing a uniform temperature environ­ment for the patient. The exposed layer of 3/8"H polymer gel is heat-sealed over a high-density 2"H Polyfoam pad, providing constant support beneath patients without bottoming out. Anti-shear, elastic cover with fluid-proof, welded seams encases foam layer. Available for AMSCO C-Max Series, 3080/3085, and 1080/2080 surgical tables. 3 pieces per set.
