AliMed® FREEDOM® Standard ThumbKeeper™ Splint is recommended when maximum joint support and motor restriction are important. Use for sports or work when impact and stretching are expected. Cinching D-ring closure abducts thumb so motion at CMC joint is restricted even more effectively. Allows the IP joint to flex as the MP joint is maintained in the preferred resting position without restricting or impeding patient's ability to perform so daily activities can continue uninterrupted. 1/16" Multiform thermoplastic outer shell is lined with AliPlast™ foam for cushioning not found in most custom-fabricated CMC splints. Indicated for Gamekeeper's Thumb, Skier's Thumb, ulnar collateral ligament strain, CMC/MP joint arthritis, and other conditions requiring CMC/MP joint support. Easily fits inside a glove. Available in Left or Right.
