AliMed® T-Gel™ Plus Wheelchair Cushion with Solid Seat Insert™ (SSI) features a shear-reducing T-Gel pad and slow recovery Medium T-Foam™ (memory foam) layered on top of a convex bottom, closed-cell foam, solid seat base for a cushion that addresses multiple patient needs. Smooth gel minimizes the effects of skin shearing for basic shear relief while T-Foam redistributes pressure. Solid Seat Insert eliminates sling-seat sag and promotes an upright sitting posture without increasing the overall seat cushion height. Available in Standard or Bariatric sizes with Black Stretch Polyester Knit Cover or durable Navy Nylon Ripstop Cover that resists incontinence and stops punctures from becoming tears.
