Wheaton™ Brace AFO TEV-CRB Series replaces serial casting and corrective shoes to correct metatarsus adductus or to maintain correct foot positioning. Addresses all three aspects of congenital clubfoot: forefoot adductus-varus, handfoot varus, and ankle equines. Helps correct forefoot adductus-varus using three-point fixation principle and sets ankle at 90 degrees (neutral) to help prevent Achilles tendon contractures in children who have begun walking. Alleviates hindfoot varus by holding the heel securely in neutral position. Use day or night to maintain correction after casting or surgery for clubfoot. Foam-lined plastic. Not to be used for ambulation. Available in six sizes based on child's age.
