AliMed^® Omni Progressive^™ WHT Orthosis^™

AliMed® Omni Progressive™ WHT Orthosis™ features a comfortable padded terrycloth liner, high degree of adjustability, and unprecedented ease of use, making this orthosis superior to custom splints for managing contractures. No heat is required - simply bend to fit. Strong yet malleable aluminum splint core is adjustable in all areas: forearm, wrist, fingers, and thumb, allowing a customized fit for most any contracture to meet the changing needs of the wearer. Top and bottom are laminated with flexible cloth-covered foam, protecting the wearer from metal edges and providing an absorbent, cushioned resting surface. Padded, removable, and washable terrycloth liner absorbs perspiration, ensuring skin integrity is not compromised while protecting skin from pressure. Comfort and skin protection mean better patient compliance, and that means improved contracture management. Finger portion of the splint offers a natural resting trough for each finger, helping to keep fingers appropriately aligned. Finger platform can also be rolled or bent to accommodate any contracture and modified for use in progressive splinting. Wrist angle may be modified from 75 degrees of flexion to 45 degrees of extension. Thumb piece can be adjusted to accommodate any degree of abduction or flexion, even the forearm cuff can be adjusted to accommodate any size. Available in Left or Right and Standard or Long splint lengths. Long provides an additional 2" of length at the forearm for improved wrist extension control and 1" longer a the fingers for a better fit.
