AliMed^® FREEDOM^® Low-Profile ThumbKeeper^™ Splint

AliMed® FREEDOM® Low-Profile ThumbKeeper™ supports an unstable CMC and MP joint for patients with chronic thumb arthritis. With this splint, thumb can be used as a stable post in grasp. Allows the IP joint to flex as the MP joint is maintained in the preferred resting position without restricting or impeding patient's ability to perform so daily activities can continue uninterrupted. 1/16" Multiform thermoplastic outer shell is lined with AliPlast™ foam for cushioning not found in most custom-fabricated CMC splints. Overlap palmar strap closure is easier to manipulate than traditional D-ring closure. Indicated for Gamekeeper's Thumb, Skier's Thumb, ulnar collateral ligament strain, CMC/MP joint arthritis, and other conditions requiring CMC/MP joint support. Easily fits inside a glove. Available in Left or Right.
