Original line is protected by AEGis Microbe Shield® which inhibits the growth of micro-organisms on the product. Silver line has a permanent X-Static silver thread knit into the layer closest to the skin to kill 99.9% of bacteria in less than one hour of exposure

How does it work? Microfilaments in the textile flex to reduce pressure on bony prominences acting as mini pressure reducing springs. Two layers of MicroSpring textile protect fragile skin with 8000 microfilament per square inch.
Stay-Put™ Heel Protector Five layers of MicroSpring Textile cover the heel to reduce pressure and friction on heel and malleolus. Unique design keeps heel protector from rolling around or slipping off. Comfortable and cool enough to wear all day and night. Launder Guard snap helps keep hook and loop fastener from snagging garments in the laundry.
