When brake is engaged, brake stopper hits the wheel and the wheels cannot roll. Helpful for patients with limited hand function and/or limited cognizance. Braking mechanism has adjustable brake spring tension and automatically engages if patient stumbles. Patient is situated in the center of the Safety Roller for maximum support and improved posture.
