Custom Heel Cups can be molded directly to the patient without subsequent trimming and finishing. No casting, laboratory delays, or adjustment problems. Simply dip the translucent milk-white heel cups into warm water and wait until they become clear. At this stage they are flexible, elastic, and can be molded into even the most contrary heel. Hold heel in the corrected position. The cup cool and hardens to its original state in just three or four minutes.
Choose the size that fits the heel very tightly. Custom Heel Cups can be scissor-trimmed to their final size, if necessary.
Experience to date suggests the lifetime of a Heel Cup is at least six months with normal to active use.
