Automatic Remote Night Light with TR2 Alarm, Ultra-Thin Mylar Sensor Pad and Convert Alert: AliMed’s TR2 fall alarm with nightlight lights the floor automatically when a fall risk patient attempts to arise, helping reduce nighttime falls. Many falls occur at night when a patient arises to visit the bathroom unassisted. Visibility in the patients room is often poor because lights are dimmed or turned off, so patients usually can’t see obstacles.
The receiver/light unit has 5 bright white LED lights and comes with a mounting kit and batteries. This system has no cables making the system fully wireless thereby eliminating a trip and fall hazard. The alarm transmits to the night light unit up to 20 feet away. The light illuminates and then switches off automatically after five minutes. Additional remote nightlights can be added to this system to create an illuminated pathway.
The AliMed® TR2 Patient Alarm is completely tamper resistant, perfect for patients who abuse alarms, disconnect the sensor cable, or try to turn them off. It's always on, it does not have an on/off switch. Once the batteries are loaded and the cable is inserted, the alarm is activated. All settings are concealed under the battery cover, away from tinkering patients. Has hidden, dual-reset buttons, which must be pressed in unison to reset alarm. Sensor cables are held in place by a Lock-n-Load switch, if the switch is opened, the alarm is triggered. Has an ABS plastic case with rubber bumpers to protect the unit from drops and other abuse.

The AliMed Ultra-Thin Mylar Sensor Pad represents a revolution in sensor-pad technology. Unlike the traditional sensor pad, it doesn’t require weight, just closeness, and works on the body’s electromagnetic field rather than weight/pressure. The lightest touch will activate it. So it is ideal for people of any weight. This means it can be placed under the shoulders of a patient in bed and then effectively becomes an early warning alarm because it will trigger before the patient arises.
And because it doesn’t require internal electrical contacts it is more robust. In fact, it readily withstands folding, crushing and can even be cut to size. So it is the one sensor you can stock that can be trimmed for bed, chair or toilet simply using standard scissors.
It even works on air mattresses and air overlays making it ideal for patients with pressure ulcers.
The AliMed Convert Alert is included with this system. It plugs into the TR2 Alarm's nurse call jack, making the system wireless.
