Automatic Remote Night Light with PIR (Passive Infrared) Motion Sensor Alarm: AliMed’s Motion Sensor fall alarm sounds and lights the floor automatically when a fall risk patient attempts to arise, helping reduce nighttime falls. Many falls occur at night when a patient arises to visit the bathroom unassisted. Visibility in the patients room is often poor because lights are dimmed or turned off, so patients usually can’t see obstacles.
The Fall Alarm Night Light works with the PIR motion sensor to reduce this risk of falls by alerting patient and caregiver . Immediately when any part of the patient’s body is detected in movement through the motion sensor beam, the alarm and night light are activated. The motion sensor fall alarm sends a wireless signal to the night light unit up to 20 feet away. The light will then illuminate and switch off automatically after 5 minutes giving enough time for the caregiver to attend to the patient and both to see where the patient is going while illuminating the way and any obstacles that may present a slip, trip or fall risk. The receiver/light unit has 5 bright white LED lights and comes with a mounting kit and batteries. Additional remote nightlights can be added to the system to create an illuminated pathway. This system has no cables making the system fully wireless thereby eliminating a trip and fall hazard.
The AliMed PIR Motion Sensor Alarm System is simple, safe and dependable. When its beam is interrupted, the alarm sounds and the nightlight goes on. The PIR beam is narrow and fan-shaped so only the bedside area is monitored. The alarm won't go off when a staff member enters the room.
Automatic Remote Night Light With PIR (Passive Infrared) Motion Sensor Alarm with Remote Receiver: Add the wireless remote receiver so an extra alarm can sound outside the door so caregiver can immediately locate the patient at risk. Remote receiver/alarm can receive a signal up to 100' away from bed alarm. Can also be used with nurse call systems.
