Alzheimer's Low Bed features ultra-low profile – 4-1/2" (7-1/2" with 3" casters) – to help prevent the dangerous falls that can occur when Alzheimer's residents wander out of bed. Head portion of manual bed lifts and lowers easily with gas-spring assisted lift mechanism.
Electric model (Pictured) offers greater lift capabilities, with 600 lb. torque-rated electrical actuators for head, knee, and high-low adjustments from 7-3/4" to 16-3/4"H. Both are spring-type beds. Welded frame resists bending. Headboard can be permanently mounted, or if easy patient access is needed, left off. Tread-lock 3" casters (two locking). Attractive, durable frame finish. 80"L spring deck. 400-lb. capacity without mattress.
