The AliMed® "No-Lift" BOOSTER™ eases caregiver back strain by making the resident easier to move toward the headboard. The BOOSTER is a flat tube of fabric with a virtually frictionless interior surface. Simply position the resident on top of the tube just as you would with a draw sheet. Now grab the reinforced edges of the top tube layer and slide it upwards. No lifting is needed--meaning less risk of back strain! The resident's skin integrity is never compromised since the BOOSTER eliminates draw sheet drag and shear. Remove it from underneath the resident after each use.
The Standard BOOSTER fits most and is available with or without handles. The Bariatric size which comes with handles, is ideal for very large large residents. Our research team has moved residents up to 600 lbs. with four or fewer staff members. Flat dimensions: Standard, 46"L x 29"W, Bariatric, 46"L x 46"W. Black. Machine washable. Air dry.
