Designed as a treatment for Congenital Muscular Torticolllis, the TOT Collar is a simple, effective and inexpensive therapy to correct head position and prevent further health problems. It is used for infant torticollis as well as for older patients. When combined with stretching of the muscle, the TOT Collar offers better results for torticollis than stretching alone.

 

The TOT Collar is designed to provide a noxious stimulant to the lateral aspect of the skull for those with congenital muscular torticollis. The wearer then moves away from this stimulus to a new, normal central corrected position. Adoption of a new, normal position provides the ability to reset perception of horizontal and maintain the corrected head position. This cool, comfortable collar is easy to put on and remove, and easy to keep clean.  With a low profile, the level of support can be set to the wearer 's needs.
