PedAlert® Monitor takes the guesswork out of treating patients who have weight-bearing limitation. Monitors weight placed on the lower limb. A warning tone alerts the patient if the prescribed weight threshold is exceeded, providing continuous feedback to help teach weight-bearing compliance. Ideal for patients with hip fractures, hip or knee replacements, foot ulcers, and many other conditions that require weight-bearing limitation or weight-transfer training.
Easy to use and fully operational in minutes. Features a low battery warning, electronic disconnect detection, and adjustable warning tone volume. Model 100 monitors the force placed on the entire foot, Model 120 independently monitors the forefoot and hindfoot, in addition to the entire foot. PedAlert system includes the cast shoe sensor system, electronics module, carry/storage case, connection cable, 9V battery, manual, and warranty. Floor scale is needed to set weight threshold.
